21. Body Dysmorphia

Season #1

Learning to deal with body dysmorphia isn’t easy and just eating more or binging isn’t the solution.

Dealing with these emotions takes a sense of control as well as confidence, which training can offer.

You experience body dysmorphia because you focus on all the negative things you see in the mirror or you’re focused on only loving yourself when you get to a certain number on the scale.

 

In this episode I remind you that body dysmorphia is normal, it is something that never really goes away but how you deal with it can improve with practice. 

But you are not broken. I want you to challenge yourself to find healthy coping mechanisms. Shift your focus from negative self talk, to goal setting, get uncomfortable and work hard to be where you want to be!
